Owner Pathway Program

The MyFlight Owner Pathway Course is designed to lead to certification in the private and instrument level upon completion, all the while preparing you for taking ownership of an airplane. This program takes place in our Diamond DA40NG’s and DA42NG aircraft if you would like your multi. This program is highly interactive, personalized, and geared towards your mission. Your individual CFI will become your personal advisor throughout each step of the program. Here’s how it works.

Utilizing your own aircraft for business or pleasure is truly a rewarding experience and there has simply never been a better time to purchase an aircraft. The MyFlight Pathway Program is designed as a first-in-industry initiative to assist would-be aircraft owners in quickly transitioning to flying larger aircraft while simultaneously earning their licenses and ratings along the way. Here’s how it works:

​Step 1: Begin training towards your private pilots license in a MyFlight DA40NG. If you complete our accelerated training route, you can complete certification in 6 weeks. If you go a more relaxed route, certification will take 4-6 months to complete.

Step 2: Complete your instrument training in a MyFlight DA40NG. Our more accelerated course can be completed in 4 weeks. Our relaxed route can lead to certification in 4-6 months.

Step 3: Purchase your aircraft with the help of a MyFlight Aircraft Services Advisor. Our team of aircraft managers and sales professionals will help you pick the aircraft that is right for you.

Step 4 (Optional): Earn your multi-engine rating. Complete our 5 day fast-paced multi-engine training in our DA42NG. 

Step 5: Build time by renting our DA40NG’s or DA42NG. 

Step 6: Take delivery of your new airplane and let MyFlight Aircraft Services manage your new asset. Enjoy flying your airplane!

Aircraft Ownership Made Easy

The process of owning an airplane seems like a daunting task. There are simply so many factors to consider and, until now, you were expected to run around to different people to find the answers you want. With the MyFlight Pathway Program, we assist you every step of the way. 

We utilize an innovative three pronged approach to aircraft ownership and overall management: 
  • First, we provide premium flight training services from day one. Begin your training in a MyFlight training aircraft and learn the fundamentals of flying. Our team of CFI’s will work tirelessly to ensure that you are the safest pilot possible all throughout your aviation journey. Our CFI’s will also act as mentor pilots to ride along with you as you meet insurance requirements during your progression into different aircraft.
  • Second, we provide advanced maintenance management by using software to keep track of required inspections, utilizing our advanced network of maintenance shops to get you the most affordable and efficient inspections, complying with insurance requirements, and offering a myriad of other services including aircraft cleaning, hangar and securing locations, fueling, and regular upkeep.
  • Finally, we provide pilot services to members of the MyFlight Pathway Program. These pilot services allow you to ensure you aircraft is always exactly where you need it to be. Taking a long vacation and don’t want to pay the ramp fees for your aircraft to sit in a new airport? Your MyFlight pilot will relocate your airplane back to your home airport or your airport of choice. Additionally, these pilot services allow your aircraft to be moved to locations for maintenance. Your aircraft will always be exactly where it needs to be.
